Has fine possibilities of developing into a good tail backs CALVIN CARTER Plays guard - comes from Morgan High. Is a wild man on defense. DON SHAW Plays wingback - comes from Weber High. Won the Standard Examiner KLO watch for being an outstanding athlete. Is doing an excellent job for Weber College. He is the man running the reverses for Weber. GLEN BRIDGES -- One of the more rugged individuals on Weber's squad. Comes from Morgan High - plays tackle. JUNIOR BYBEE Sophomore fullback - is probably the hardest hitting man on the squad when he tackles. He is the one that plays halfback on defense and rocks the offense when he tackles them. Comes from Weber High. Nicknamed Sheriff GORDON PETERSON Sophomore played center last year, shifted to end this year and doing an excellent job. He was the one who caught the long pass for a touchdown against Modesto College last Saturday. Comes from Snowville and Bear River High, RAY NEWEY -- Sophomore ~ plays end. Is one of the more rugged ends on defense., Ray loves football, and plays just that way. Always dependable when he is in the game. Comes from Weber High. DEAN LINDSAY -- Tackle - sophomore. One of the larger men on the squad weighs 195. Plays a outstanding game at tackle. Can be counted on to go 60 min. in any game. Comes from Weber High. Good hard blocker and tackier. KEN JOHNSON Center - sophomore. Is most unhappy when he isn't in the game. Is one of the better centers that Weber College has had. A fine blocker and tackler. Likes offense in particular. Plays an excellent game at center. ERNIE KIDD -- Tackle -- has a lot of bad luck so far this year. having an injury to his leg that has kept him pretty well sidelined. Weber College is expecting big things from him in the next few weeks. Comes from Burley Idaho. One of the two men on the squad that comes to Weber College from out side of the state of Utah. Is married and has one child DICK BROWN Guard - freshman this year. Playing first string guard. Plays a fine hard rugged game at all times. Comes from Weber High - can be counted on to do an excellent job any time he is in the game. Is an asset to Weber's Team this year. MAX COLOGNA -- Freshman - from Weber High. Is an excellent defensive player and has seen considerable action in that respect already this year. Counting on bigger and better things from Max. EDGAR CAMPBELL - Freshman center - prefers to play defense and does an excellent job of it. Comes from Davis High. Runs Lagoon during the summer. Ed is a fine addition to Weber's squad this year. DAURAL BARNES - Freshman - plays end. He is better known as sticky fingers, because if that ball comes any where near him he will snag it for some fine gains. Comes from Weber High. Pie is a basketball player in addition to football.
