Show Cheerleaders Cheerleaders Kay Rushton Bob Miya Jean Farnsworth Marge Hancock The cheerleaders were on hand all year to help boast school spirit and enthusiasm for games. One of their biggest responsibilities was supervising and judging for the "Hound Dog Trophy" which was awarded to the club with the best cheering section at games. They also cheered the football team at Compton, California, and boasted the Weber's basketball World at the national tournament in Hutcheson, Kansas. Sport Even though Weber is having what is known as "growing pains," the athletic events proved that there is a fighting spirit in the school that will help a great deal when Weber becomes a four-year college. The sportsmanship displayed by Weber College is a by-word in every city or town that they visit. |
