Show LIFE SCIENCE Dr. O. Whitney Young, Chairman of the Life Science Division, reflects the spirit of "doing." He is the past president of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters. Study in the Life Science Division is supplemented by a number of field trips which play an important part in the academic work. Graduates are prepared for upper division work in such majors as agriculture, dentistry, and others. Their objective is to convey a message of life related to health, conservation, and nature. Stevenson Chairman Mr. Stevenson, Chairman of the Physical Sciences, creates a happy atmosphere by taking an interest in his instructors and students. The standards of the Division are high and the students are well trained. PHYSICAL SCIENCE The critical shortage of trained personnel in engineering, science, and technology offers a challenge to the Physical Science Division.
