Show HUMANITIES Dr. Monson is the capable chairman of the Humanities Division, and under his direction the Division operates smoothly. He imparts an insatiable desire for continued learning to all who come in contact with him. Leland H. Monson The Division of Humanities is a vital part of our college and education. The purpose of the Division is to acquaint students with artistically expressed ideas which will give them insights into human nature. The Humanities help students to establish sound priority of values and to realize that in order to make our democracy safe they must help maintain these values. The academic work in this field enables students to intelligently appraise fine art and develop appreciation for it.
