He succeeds O. W. Klevjord, Washington Terrace, who was sworn in for a new three-year term representing District 5. Earl Swenson, clerk-treasurer for the board, administered the oath. Bryce Jensen, Roy, was elected vice president. An unusual situation developed this year in that three members of the board will be up for reelection next fall. Usually only one member is elected each year, 4 and custom is for him to be elect- ed president in the year his term ends.
