Show FRENCH Because of the uniqueness of each student, a program based upon the principle of continuous progress has been designed which will allow each student to develop the multiple language skills of listening, speaking and reading at his own rate. Students take self-test to check individual progress, Small group work is encouraged for oral enrichment, GERMAN The German program at Wahlquist consists of three levels: German IA (7th grade), German IB (8th grade), German II (9th grade) which is closely correlated with the high school in order that a pupil may study German for six years upon completing his general education. The average yearly enrollment is 135 pupils. The integrated approach to language teaching is used, e.g. listening, speaking, reading, and writing taught simultaneously at the same time emphasizing conversational skills.
