The “Ball of the Christmas Bells” was sponsored by the Pep Club. The candidates for “Miss Pep Club” and “Mr. Athlete” were: Rosalee Reeder, “Miss Pep Club;” Thom Budge, “Mr. Athlete;” Kathy Knight, Roger Peterson, Karen Knight, Lyle Johnston, Jane Chugg, Dave Stanger, Carol Stratford, Fred Thompson, Ann Calderwood, and Allen Berrett. candidates “Miss Weber” and “Happy Warrior” were chosen at the annual Girls’ Dance. The candidates were, row one: Nancy Cox, Ann Penman, Gwenn Anderson, “Miss Weber;” Joan Spackman, Sandy Bergera, Judy McFarland; row two: Fred Thompson, Mike Streight, Roger Peterson, Jim Mann, “Happy Warrior; Thom Budge. Dave Stanger was absent from the picture. The candidates for the Harvest Ball King and Queen were Ronnie Young, Karen Knight, Jim Mann, Jane Chugg, Serge Simmons, Carol Stratford, Brent Stratford, Helen Bishop, Queen; and Fred Stettler, King. These ten lovely young ladies were chosen as finalists for the FFA Queen.
