Show Clubs The Clubs of Weber are composed of the greatest number These clubs of students in such organizations. provide opportunities for the stu- dents to get ahead in fields where their interests lie. The clubs are varied; from academic to athletic. All clubs have the same purpose: to better the individual. F.H.A. The F. H. A. has proven to be a wonderful organization, as it helped the girls realize their roles as future homemakers. Throughout the year speakers have come to the school, and demonstrations have been presented to help each member chart goals and Teruka realize Hori, opportunities.. The Parliamentarian; Leota officers are: Murakami, Secretary; Tamra Peterson, President; Elain Parisi, Treasurer; Miss Whittaker, Advisor; Donna Lindsey, Reporter; Lynette Bingham, Song Leader; Mickie Fowler, Historian; Toni Fowler, Vice Presi- dent; and Mrs. Maughan, Advisor. F.F, A. One of the more active clubs at Weber has been the Future Farmers of America. These boys have sponsored one of the biggest dances of the year, “The Harvest Ball,’ at which they chose a harvest king and queen. Later in the year an F. F. A. queen was chosen to compete with other queens in a state-wide contest. Of course, they held meetings. There, they discussed better farming methods and the benefits of farming in the future. Officers are: Bruce Slater, President; Jerry Peterson, Vice President; Gilbert Wangsgard, Secretary; Phil Hancock, Reporter; Gary Stan Jackson, Sentinel; and Coleman, Mr. Petty, Treasurer; Advisor.
