Show Music Music is the most beautiful language in the world. It can be understood by all who hear it; if they will only take the time to listen. Our choirs and band seem to have possessed the magic wand for casting a spell to make people understand and open their ears and to really listen and understand this beauttful language. Long after the strains of music have been muted, the halls of Weber will reverberate the magic of its sounds. Mr. Nye leads the Boys’ Glee class with great enthusiasm. He creates a harmony of voices that many people have enjoyed. The opportunity provided by this class is one that helped these boys attain better singing skill and knowledge of music. The magic of songs and harmony is brought to its greatest refinement by our A Cappella Choir. The gift of music instilled in Mr. Nye has been reproduced in the Choir, and they have presented some of the finest programs we have ever heard. The Choir has a great deal of incentive also, for they combined their talents and sweat to raise money for a singing shell, which they accomplished by showing the movie, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.’ Within music lies the power to create moods and our choir has done a tremendous job in accomplishing this. This was especially true at Christmas time. The choir has sung for many civic and religious activities. Recognition and acclaim has always followed them.
