This was only a small part, however, of the Language Arts activities. Also there were debate meets, the foreign language festival, an interpre- tative speech and poetry meet, and numerous con- tests as well as the regular class work. In these ac- ‘tivities, Weber again was tops in her field and we are proud of her for it. Mr. Erickson reads to his students as they listen and laugh. Shakespeare seems to have written something funny or maybe it’s just the way Mr. Erickson interprets it. English in this class is fun yet educational. | Some students study, some listen, some talk, and some watch but Mr. Griffin teaches English to those who are enthusiastic about learning. Margie seems to be enjoying reading while Clair is busy drawing bearded ladies in his book. | Students listen intently to Mr. Cox and a student teacher Most students of Mr. Cox’s will recognize the record player which was used throughout the year.
