A statement headed "Browning's consent necessary to sub-license" is enclosed for consider~ ation of this question. Se Advance royalty of 750,000.00 to Colts by Armstrong-lihitworth. We have nothing on thie subject, but the ColteeArmstrong agreement which you read, and Mr. Stone's letter outlining the terms of the agreement. You will note in Colt's letter of Jamuary 17th, they refer us to their letter of September S0th, 1927, a copy of which was sent to you on October Gth, 1927. Their purpose in referring us back to the letter of September 30th is to shew us what they would like to have us do and would therefore suggest that you look your copy up. 4 copy of the above 1927, which royalties Another statement was also sent to Mr. Nebeker. Enelosed is a copy of tis Nebeker's letter of October 21, may throw some light on the question.
