Student Activities The Board of Control The executive body of the school is known as the Board of Control. The membership of this governing board is composed of the president, vice president, secretary and treasurer of the Student Body, all the presidents of the respective classes, debating manager, athletic manager, editor of the Acorn, and faculty members consisting of five, respectively the president, chairman of amusements, debating, athletics, and the college class advisor. The Acorn The Acorn has now become the school year book, and its entire management is entrusted to members of the Student Body. The Weber Herald This school paper made its first appearance during the school year, 1916-1917. The necessity of real, pithy, scholastic news became more evident with the inception of the Normal College department. The Herald is published biweekly and covers the important news of all the schools of the state, giving special attention to the needs and joys of Weber. |
