Show 20 WEBER COLLEGE Physiology—For work in Physiology the laboratory is supplied with a human skeleton, charts and models and a collection of slides. Domestic Science—This department occupies the south half of the first floor of the main building and consists of a large cooking laboratory and dining room. The furnishings are new and of the best practical material. The cooking laboratory contains two large coal ranges, a gas range, an electric range, especially prepared student desks furnished with utensils, cabinets, sinks and tables and individual gas jets. Rest Room—The rest room is supplied with conveniences for students who are seized with a sudden illness or who meet with accidents during school hours. Here proper care will be taken of all who need attention or medical aid. The Library. The Library consists of 7000 volumes which have been selected with care and with special reference to the needs of the school, and include works on general literature, science, art, commerce, history, religion and education. The current periodicals, newspapers and magazines of the State and nation are furnished for additional reading material, so as to keep the library up-to-date in current happenings. A competent librarian is in charge to help the student in his search for reference books and collateral readings. WEBER COLLEGE GYMNASIUM 21 The Weber Gymnasium is open to all students of the college. Its attractive swimming pool, beautiful ballroom, and large basketball floor add new joys and advantages to the Weber College curriculum. Courses in men's and women's gymnastics may be found listed under the Physical Educa- cation Department. . |
