Show November 10, 1961Dear Pete: Many thanks for your thoughtful letter of October 31st. I am truly pleased to be given the opportunity of serving on the Wells Fargo Board. Perhaps now when I walk into the bank I won't get the feeling that they've just dispatched somebody posthaste to lock up the money.Ransom has certainly demonstrated his ability to run the bank without me, but I will be pleased to be of whatever service I can to him.
