The total amount of the contract was $22, 306, 000. 1911 - 1912 In 1912 the Nampa Branch main line track in the amount of $1, 200, 000 was completed for Oregon Short Line Railroad Company in Idaho. 1913 - 1915 Completed Projects - 1915 1. The Sherwood-Arcata main line was completed in California for the Northwestern Pacific Railroad Company in the amount of $5,500,000. 2. The main line from Helper, to Soldier Summit in Utah was completed for Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Company in the amount of $3,000,000. 3. The tunnels on Ukiah-Areata Line (project no. 1 above) for Northwestern Pacific Railroad Company were also completed during this period. There were about 30 tunnels and they amounted to about 20,000 linear feet. 1916 Canyon Dam Located in the state of Utah, this project was completed in 1916. The owner of the project was the Utah Irrigation District and they engineered the project also. The approximate cost of this earthfill project was $700, 000. 1917 - 1919 In 1919 the main line from Coyote Wells to Jacumba. California was completed for the San Diego and Eastern Arizona Railroad Company in the amount of $2, 500, 000. |
