Biographical/Historical Note These artifacts hang in the barn that William (Bill) H. Shurtleff (1916-2011) built. The bow, crosscut saw was used for cutting firewood, and could be operated by two men. Deer antlers were often used for hanging objects as depicted by the old hat, rope, horse shoe, and gun.
