The collection includes Autobiographies, Oral Histories, History of Marriott, History of Slaterville, and the History of the Merging Townships to create Marriott-Slaterville City. This information has left behind rich histories, stories and important information regarding the history of the Marriott-Slaterville area. |

Show Many dinners and projects were given and completed during the summer and fall months. The long worked for event was here. On 24 Nov 1968 a dedicatory service was held for the new chapel, which was completed at a cost of $275,000 Bishop Robert L. Simpson of the Presiding Bishopric was present and offered the dedicatory address and prayer. Four hundred and fifty were in attendance from the Slaterville and Marriot wards. (See Fig. 8-4) MARRIOTT - SLATERVILLE CHAPEL Since 1968 we have enjoyed the comfort our new chapel affords us.
