Show DRAMA ASSEMBLIES Carol Mills, juvenile lead in Flying Gerardos, pleasantly points out evils of circus life to male lead, lugubrious Robert Merrill. Those in know say pix was faked and in real act crusty Carol was giving Bob real heck. All are there in pre-curtain line-up of Gerardos: from left to right, William Bobolis, Carolyn Harmer, Laurence Gee, Orville Holley, Richard Terry, Mary Jane Berryessa, Sally Powell, Mary Ellen Bailey, Carol Lee Mills, Duane Perry, Robert Merrill, Alice Anderson, David B. Affleck. Comedy was amusing. Dean Thueson directed. In Song of Bernadette, John Kelly directed, Jann Heiner as Croisine has come to miraculous spring for cure of infant, but the miller, John Beus, right, and Ronald Jenkins as doctor would dissuade her. As Bernadette Gwen Hubbard sees Virgin Mary. Sharing in wonderment but unseeing are from left Donna Mann, Marilyn Johns, Boyce Harris, Georgia Bobolis. Play was impressive. Singing out with exuberance are left to right Beverly Graves, Sally Powell, Lu-ella Christopherson, Marilyn Jensen, Myrna Larsen, Gwen Seely, llene Stan-field, Charlotte Stark, and Noma Allen. The Language Department makes out fine. A toast is offered and to what, is my question. Participating are left to right Carol Mills, Lou Ann McFarland, Brian Renstrom, Nannett Gray, Kay Jon Mil-don, and Sharon Gerber. Look at those expressions. It is a very emotional song this quartette sings. Left to right, they are Gar Workman, Brian Renstrom, Duane Hedin and Robert Merrill. We offer our sympathy. What are they up to now in the Kangaroo Court? Honest Tom Burton gives the orders as usual while Boyce Harris and Bob Critchlow try to unbalance Marilynne Henrie. Allan Cook just stands beside with a bit of glee in his eyes. |
