Too much watermelon will do it. Leon Ray and Bonita Kerr, cheer leaders, are happy as Snow College player number 20 is sad. Weber had a big cheering section that night and it was happy too when the Wildcats edged the tenacious Snow College Badgers for the regional N. J. C. A. A. championship. 16 Diane Jones, president of LaDianaeda, is a bit flustered, nevertheless is delighted, as she accepts first-place honor for the club's talent skit from M.C.'s John Elzey and Fred Ball. Julia Palmer of lota Tau Kappa presents gift of pillow and bestows the title of "Friedliest Girl" on Darlene Powell at the Associated Women Students' annual Friendship banquet. What a smile! What a girl! Joining hands and voices at the head table of the Friendship banquet are Mrs. Lydia H. Tanner, Mary Jean Schott, Marjorie Koldewyn, Elaine Smith Hymas, Mae Welling, Mrs. H.A. Dixon, Mrs. Clarisse Hall, Irma Adams. It's a serious world for the faculty. Bob Beishline dishes up the calories after the talent show for student Ed Vendell, Barbara Hatch, Beverley Deamer.
