During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Also see a laye umbilical Hernia operated on under cocaine anesthesia Go through ward with Dr Osler. Receive letter from Ezra. A goodday. SATURDAY 30 Baltimore Md Spend day in Hospital See Dr Cullen operate. Dr Holsted operated on colored man for intestinal obstruction due to bonds of adhesions. Child operated on for Pyr-thaias Go over in city with Lewis in evening visit Lexington member. SUNDAY 31 Baltimore Md Recd papers. Got letter from Mira In afternoon and evening go over in city and attend Mormon conference about 17 elders present Have good time. Alf Reed stopps all night with me. Letter from Willie MONDAY, APRIL 1, 1901 Baltimore Md A nice day. Spend day at Hospital See Dr Kelley operate also Dr Holsted. Write letters home to Ezra. Play cards in Parlor in eveng with some of the brothers. TUESDAY 2 Baltimore Md Willie Rich arrived here from Norfolk this morning. Good to see him. Attend Hospital all day See Dr Holsted operate & Go through wards with Dr Osler Gone over to visit Missionaries with Willie. Have nice time during evening Letters from Mira and Mother WEDNESDAY 3 Baltimore Md A wet day. Has rained all day. Attended Dr Kelleys clinic a most interesting clinic. Heard Dr Bloodgood lecture on Pathology visited Anatomic room & clinical laboratories. Read some in evening |
