Description	This collection contains 74 diaries of Dr. Edward Rich and his wife Almira. They begin in 1892 and run through 1965. The bulk of this collection centers on Almira's diaries that run from 1897-1947. During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins.

In afternoon we visit Glasnevin Cemetery Phenix Park and drive around the city. The ladies do some shopping. Mira writes to Mother in evening. We meet some Americans in evening. King Edward vii had narrow escape on Shamrock ii THURSDAY 23 Llandudno, Wales. We left Dublin this morning early crossed from Dublin to Holyhead (Wales) by fast mail steamer. visit Conway with its fine old castle and walls then come up here to Llandudno a beautiful and fashionable waterny place stop at Marine Hotel FRIDAY 24 Liverpool, England. We left Llandudno this morning come up to Chester and spent the day visiting this ancient and picturesque city. Cathedral Walls and Castle beautiful. Stop at Queens Hotel there. In evening come up to Liverpool and slept at North Western Hotel. Visit 42 Islington and see Apostle & Mrs Lyman, Platt Lyman & others. SATURDAY, MAY 25, 1901 Liverpool, England. A busy day for business people. Visit 42 Islington. Bro F.M. Lyman blesses Mira. Platt Lyman goes with Bro. Scowcroft & me to Steamer office and we engage passage back to America Bro Scowcroft & wife start for Hosbyden We do some shopping. Attend Dr Peaces organ recital in St Georges Hall in evening One Geo Wise is causing a religion disturbance between Catholics and Protestants. SUNDAY 26 Leamington, England. Arrive here from Liverpool at 4 p.m. Stop at Manor House. Very fashionable crowd here as this Liverpool. Rain. Go to 42 Islington. Meet Fred Clark Attend church with Elders at night good time Write home Whit sunday. MONDAY 27 Leamington England The Shakespeare district. Stopping at Manor House. A very fashionable crowd out for the holiday. Beautiful ride from Liverpool. Visit Jephsons gardens and mineral springs Take carriage drive through city Beautiful place
