Show Friday, July 27, 1923. Dear Mother is so weak she can only shake her head & nod yes or no. We seem helpless to do anything for her. Have been with her most of the day. Also Lucile has. Saturday 28. We are indeed conserned about mother she can take no nourishment at all. Just a little chiped ice. But she is in no pain. Had the elders. Sunday 29. No change for better with Mother had hoped she could be operated on but she is too weak. Lucile & I have been with her all afternoon while nurse is out. Monday, July 30, 1923. Mother is very bad little change. Earl & Will came today She knew them. She is in no pain but is simply starving. Tuesday 31. Mother a tiny bit better we think. Elders adminster to her. Lucile & I have been with her all afternoon she cannot talk. Wednesday, Aug. 1. Mother very low may go any time spent the afternoon at the Hospital. |
