Show February 1926 Sat 13. To day has not been quite so buisy for me. I met with the Daughters of Pioneer Board this afternoon at the home of Vice President Olive M. Corey. Made a report of our Ball given the eighth of Feb. I was chairman of tickets. Tickets sold & taken in at door 310. One dollar a ticket. Cash taken in at the door 9550 (cleared 250.00) Some Complimentares were given and we had in all an attendance of 850 people. Two orchestras played one a string of 11 pieces & the other 10. 1926 February Sun 14. A beautiful day. Mary went to Sunday school. I prepared dinner after having so many at the table for years it seems strange to have just Dr Mary & I. I went to Relief Society officers meeting this afternoon there was a good attendance. I met with the ward presidents seven were present & one absent. We planned for a stake dancing party to be held at Weber Gym on the Seventeenth of March. A box lunch, Ice cream & Soda water will be the refreshments. Did not go to church. |
