During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Mon. Dec. 29, 1924. Ezra & Annie & family gave a very beautiful party at Berthana about 300 present. Tuesay 30. Wednesday 31. This has been a very happy year & we have much to be thankful for. Dr & I retired early the children are all out to parties. I hope 1925 may prove to be as good as 1924. Memoranda. Feb 28/24. I was released from the Daughters of Pioneers of Weber Co. organization as President Feb. 28 having served a term of two years. It has been a very successful two years & I had splendid support in officers Board members & Camp members added considerable funds to our bank account. Gave three fine balls two field days. Four house parties & entertained the pioneers of Weber Co as guests at 1922 Ball also on 24 of July at a banquet at the Hermitage Hotel 300 in attendance. Finished volum three of our biographys also scrapbook No 4. Kept one Near East child one year 60.00 Ten dollars to Boy Scouts. Started Good Cheer Com. And held Board meetings for two years at my home with enrollment of 42 members. Average attendance 25 and saved 350.00 |
