During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show I did a two weeks washign with Mrs. Rhuarts help. Attended Girl Scout meeting this evening. Dr is tired so retired early. Tuesay 13. To day I had charge of Mount Ogden Stake Relief Society conference. Held three meetings. Had 2 Board members from Salt Lake. Had dinner with them & rest of Presidency at sister Annie Pettys. A splendid Conference 256 or 50 present in afternoon. Wednesday 14. Have spent today at home Ironed, baked cleaned etc. & made preparation to go to the temple tomorrow. Am very tired retire late. Letters from Myrene & Junior. Thursday, Nov. 15, 1923. Went to Salt Lake Temple on the 0 30 train spent most of the day there. Sister Bertha Eccles did a name for me. Came home at four thirty PM. Dr & I attended a lecture on the Book of Mormon by John Mills. Friday 16. Have spent the day at home in general work & sewing. Retire late Dr is out with a case. Saturday 17. Swept & dusted etc this AM besides preparing meals This afternoon had a Com meeting here. Later went to a Tea given by Mrs. Pugmire & Glenn I poured with Mrs. Farnsworth Margret Anderson from Logan was here. |
