Show SUNDAY, MAR. 17, 1901 Philadelphia. St Patricks day. Nice day. Visited Jefferson Hospital and listened to sermon there in afternoon by a missionary Doctor from Siam. Visit Miss Lowrey but no mail from home. Opera evening with Dr Ward my old roommate. Write to Ezra. Retire at 11 p.m. MONDAY 18 Phila. Go to Norristown to see Dr Price operate. Visit German Hospital. Dr Hearn does small operation in Jefferson and Dr Kien does extensive vivisection for carcinoma of neck in old man. Spend evening at Dr Krusens with some of old classmates. TUESDAY 19 Phila See Dr Jos Price do appendicitis operation in morng attend Montgomeries clinic See Dr Krusen do two operations at St Josephs and Visit Dr Deaners clinic at German Hospital. Go down to Miss Lowrey Get letters from Ezra & Mira. Spend evening with Dr Hess. WEDNESDAY, MAR. 20, 1901 Phila. Sleep rather late Go out to University of Pennsylvania Visit clinic on nervous diseases and clinic on childrens diseases Meet Dr McChrystal. Go through buildings and grounds. Go through University Hospital & and visit the great Blockley Hospital 4000 inmates THURSDAY 21 Phila. Go to see Dr Price operate in morning attend Prof Hares clinic Go through Hospital. Shom. Go to 941 Federal but get no mail. Purchase cuff buttons a pin. Read go to bed early FRIDAY 22 Phila. Go to see Dr Price operate. Attend Duncans clinic. See Dr Montgomery do ventral fixation operation. Dr Hust eats lunch with me. We go to Reaths Vaudiville Dr Hust eats dinner with me. Go to Theater see Miss Manning in James Munedets. |
