The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Letters from Mother the children & Bro Scowcroft. Visit with Bretherin and attend church with them in the evening MONDAY 10 London, England. Go up to Mr Tupps to see about some clothes, and visit London Museum and Tower of London with Nanie Tont & Irving Emmett & others. We go to see Alice Nielson Opera Co. in evening. Viola & Leona Pratt are taking part in Co Very tired. Write letters. TUESDAY 11 London, England. Have spent most of the day at Windsor with Bros Pixton & Jenkins and their wives Had nice time. Mira did some shopping this evening She bought hat for Lusey & dress for Mother WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 1901 London, England. Visit Westminster Abbey this morning and spend several hours there. A most interesting place In afternoon we visit St Pauls Cathedral and go all through it See tombs of Lords Nilson & Wellington Go up to mission house and also spend evening at Ed Tants (from Ogden) Tent has a musical family Write home. Rains a little THURSDAY 13 London, England. Call at St Emmas Hotel and meet Viola and Leona Pratt. Get lunch and go out to Crystal Palacea beautiful place and many things to see start for Scotland on 9-30 pm train. A beautiful sleeping car. Expect to stop at Melrose in morning Write to Rich Pugmure FRIDAY 14 Regent Hotel Edinborough, Scotland. We arrived at Melrose this morning at 7 oclock. After breakfast we visit Melrose Abbeya beautiful place Then drive out to Abbotsford Scotts homeA beautiful and most interesting place. Take train for Edinborough at 11-30 A.M. Mira is tired and rests a while. In afternoon we take carriage and ride over the art part of the city |
