Tanner, head Lydia Holmgren of the home eco- nomics department at Weber college since 1914, will retire from teaching at the end of the present school year. She began teaching in the elementary schools of Box Elder county in 1894, where she taught for three years. After graduating from the Utah State Agricultural college, Logan, in 1903, she remained as an instructor for two years and then did not teach again until Elder 1911.
