Show October 10, 1961Dear Steve:I am especially grateful for your letter of September 29th and the thoughtful expression that it contained.In the past eleven years I have come to know and to admire Steve Bechtel and his very capable associates in the Bechtel Corporation. I have also felt a sense of regret that during this period our two concerns seemed to be going their separate ways after the many years of working so closely together.Certainly from Utah's standpoint all of us here would welcome working toward the objective of having more interests jointly with Bechtel in the future and I would feel that I had made a real contribution to our company if I could further the attainment of this ob- jective.
