Show October 12, 1961Dear Mac:As you can appreciate, I am a bit behind in my correspondence and have saved to the last those very special letters which I wish to acknowledge.I was cheered by your note of September 29th delivered to me at Del Monte Lodge, just as I am complimented by your letter of October 9th. It was thoughtful of you to write as you did, and I genuinely appreciate it.I hope I can give the company better guidance than I gave my golf shots during the Fall Guys. The way I played I should have been a member of the Exploration Department instead of President. You couldn't hit the ball far enough off line to tramp down the rough I found.
