Show October 12, 1961Dear Al:Many thanks for your letter of September 28th. It was thoughtful of you to write as you did, and I genuinely appreciate it.Last Friday Chuck Robinson was elected as President and Managing Director of Marcona Mining Company and also of Cia San Juan, S.A. These are affiliated com-panies of Utah Construction and Cyprus Mines and are concerned with the mining, sale, and transportation of Peruvian iron ore to steel mills the world over. Chuck has done a tremendous job and more than Justified the faith that we had in him early in his career. To give you some idea of the scope of his responsibilities, the parent companies find themselves in grave danger of having the tail wag the dog.
