Show SecondA one-year normal course offering a State Normal certificate. ThirdA two-year normal course offering a State Normal diploma. These normal courses meet all the requirements of the State Board of Education. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS An applicant for admission to the College Department must offer fifteen units of high school or other secondary work from an approved school. Students who are of a mature age and who show ability to pursue special work are admitted as special students. FEES One quarter.......$10.00 Three quarters......25.00 STUDENT BODY FEE Fee required from all students at the time of registration for the benefit of Student Body activities....... 3.00 LABORATORY FEES (See High School Laboratory Fees.) GRADUATION FirstA candidate for graduation from the six-year Normal course will be granted a Normal Diploma upon presenting sixty hours of College credit, including Theology, English I, and eighteen of Education. Upon the presentation of the Normal Diploma to the State Board of Education the applicant may be granted a state certificate to teach in the public school of the state. SecondA candidate for graduation from the five-year Normal course will be granted a Normal Certificate upon presenting thirty hours of College credit, including Theology, English I, and fourteen hours in Education, provided that training is offered as one of the courses.
