Show 30 WEBER COLLEGE Classified, Conditional College, or Special Students, depending on the nature of the credits. Special Students. Students of 18 years of age or over, who have not been graduated from high school, but who show ability to do special work may be admitted as Special Students. These students may pursue any course for which they have sufficient foundation. CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS A regular student with fewer than forty-five hours credit at the beginning of the school year will be classed that year as a Freshman. A regular student with more than forty-five hours credit and fewer than ninety at the beginning of the school year, will be classed during that year as a Sophomore. REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION (With the Degree of Associate of Arts) Candidates for graduation from this course must be of good moral character, and must complete ninety hours of approved work. This must include English 1 and 2, Physical Education and five hours or more in each of the following groups: Exact Science, Biological Science, Social Science, Language. At least thirty hours must be earned in residence at Weber. The group requirements for graduation may be met by selecting the proper courses from the following groups: Exact Science Group : Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Mineralogy; Language Group: French, Spanish, Ger- *. It is advisable for the student to take two or more courses in the same subject. Before a student can become a candidate for graduation, his record in the College must show: First, that he has satisfied the entrance requirements; secondly, that the collegiate work for which he has credit and pending credits, the completion of which is reasonably assured, together satisfy the requirements for graduation; thirdly, four-fifths of the grades earned by the student must be C or better. Students who graduate with an average grade of 90% will be designated as honor students. College credit will not be given for any course completed in high school. All candidates for graduation are required to be present at commencement exercises unless excused by the President. No student will be allowed to register for more than eighteen hours of credit per quarter without special permission. Every student must take two hours in Sacred Literature per quarter unless excused by the President. RULES OF DISCIPLINE The students are given the fullest freedom compatible with high ideals. Students who fail to conform to standards of honor and integrity are subject to discipline. Improper associations or habitual visits to houses or resorts of questionable repute will not be permitted.
