This course deals with the common varieties of fruits and vegetables, their care and management and local adaptability. Training in judging will be given. Three lectures and two laboratory periods. Sources of the Old Testament. The purpose of this course is to obtain a fair grasp of the fundamental facts of the Old Testament, its historical record, and contribution to the understanding of the Gospel plan through the ages. Fall Quarter. Text: Genesis, Exodus, important and necessary parts of Numbers and Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings and 2 Kings, with some additions from Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah. Also parts of the Apocrypha and Josephus such as will throw light on the history of Israel between 400 B. C. and the time of Christ. |
