Show DRAMATIC Dean Lambert, Marilyn Oakey, READERS LeRoy Hooper, Lois Daley, Uana Lou Frost, Evelyn Ross, Boyd Parke, Charlene Sechrist. ? With a motto of “Work, work, work”, the dramatic readers this year have specialized in interpretative work and dialects. A group of students went to Provo to the B. Y. U. Invitational Speech Meet and another group joined in the Regional Speech Meet at Logan, where Boyd Parke was rated as superior in retold story. JUNIOR SPEECH CONTEST The annual Junior Speech Meet was held March 24,25 and 26, at Weber High School. meet was open for all juniors. Boyd The winners for poetry were: Lyric, LeRoy Hooger, first place, and Eve Campbell, second; Parke, first place and second place, Ada Stringham. Nola Jean Toone took first place in Oratory and Bob Hatch, second Retold story winners were Arlen Blickfelt, Maxire Russell and Hammon and Charlene place.
