Show September 1926 Sat 25. This AM I was invited to be present at the Weber Co. Republican Con and sit on the Stand. Sen Reed Smooth & Dan B Colton were the speakers. At one oclock I attended a luncheon at Nettie Watsons, did some shopping, also did Saturday cleaning and attended an out door play let put on by Gladys for the Drama Club at which Mary danced. Prepared supper & retired late. Dr & Junior & Thair came at 1 AM. Dr & the boys drove 330 mi today. 1926 September Sun 26. This AM I attended Mt Ogden Stake Conference. Rudgar Clawson Pres of the Twelve Apostels spoke also Levi Edgar Young & Jos McFarland of the Stake Presidency. Also attended this afternoon the same speakers also seveal returned missionaries. I prepared dinner for Dr June, Avon, Thair, Cloteel, Mary Dr & myself. Spent the evening at home listening to the Radio. Prog from Los Angeles & Salt Lake City. Wrote some letters. Mary & Junior home. |
