Commencement exercises for the eighth grade graduates were held at the Tabernacle this afternoon. A large number of pupils are to tie graduated and an extensive and varied program was arranged, many excellent numbers 'being provided. CLUB WOMEN OF OGDEN TO HOLD A MASS MEETING A mass meeting of club women of this city will be held in the Weber stake lecture hall on Monday afternoon, June 7, at 3r o'clock for the purpose of considering and investigating the disturbing rumors which have recently been circulating through the city and state in regard to supposed unfavorable conditions prevailing at the State Industrial school. Local club women, after hearing rumors of careless or cruel disciplinary methods employed by the faculty of the institution, decided to take the initiative in the investigation and appointed, a few days ago. a woman to visit the school and observe for herself the conditions actually prevaling there. This woman, who is a prominent educator of the state, will address the mass meeting Monday afternoon and tell the club women and the public of the correct methods employed by the management. The committee of ladies in charge of the investigation invite the public, especially those interested in any particular in the Industrial school, to attend the meeting, which will he an open one. NOTICE TO STOCKHOLDERS.
