F, J. Westergard Art, English, Photography Our art department this year was comprised of classes in ceramics, oil painting, commercial art, and general art instruction. The ceramics classes included in the course of study fourth dimensional design and also anatomy. The practical application of this study is shown in the students’ paintings. The commercial art classes help the students develop professional lettering, techniques using pencil, pen, and skill in brush. Most of the posters acknowledging our school activities are done by these students. The general art classes give students a basic understanding of art and creations covered help develop essential background the topics of design, color, and composition of paintings. These topics helped the student to develop his skill from rough sketches to finished art instructors are well equipped of pottery, plaques, and statues. Classes in oil painting knowledge of color and to give competent design. Our instruction in,each of these fields, as can be witnessed by the fine work the students have done.
