Lunch, one of the routine parts of the day, was usually spent in the lunchroom. Here we were provided with good, nourishing, hot lunches. Little did we realize the preparation the cooks went to or the work we left them after we left. They are wonderful women who are to be congratulated for their hard work. Left to Right: Mildred Sessions, Mable Jacobson, Hazel James, Vera Harrop, Stella Saunders, Leone Larson, Iona Slater, Lula Hess. A friendly group of guys who never failed — rain, snow, sleet or sunshine — unless their buses were temperamental, were our bus drivers. Early each morning they picked us up; and after a hard day at school, they were there to take us home. They were very patient and we appreciate their service to us. Left to Right, Row One: Many nights the lights have burned as the custodians have stayed maintaining our school. Sweeping floors, taking care of heating and repairs were only a minor part of their duties. Although we don’t see them all the time, we see evidence of their work around us.
