Wade Pole vaulting is a feat that requires both determination and skill; these boys have done an excellent job in this area of track. They are: Bobby Dominguez, Jerry Price, Dave Hall and Dave Winger. Demonstrating the pole vault is Ken Meenderink. Speed, coordination, muscles, and brains are what every track boy should possess. It is clearly evident by their fine record that our track team has these qualities. Rain, snow, sunshine or clouds, our team was always ready to practice for their meets. The team was outstanding in their performances and all the meets were thrilling to watch. Each man was working his utmost for the benefit of the team, as well as for Weber. Getting plenty of encouragement from his teammates is Gregg Harrop as he demonstrates how to throw. the javelin.
