Queens Sally Powell . . . Freshman Queen The quaint little gal with personality plus and a smile that intrigues all who look upon it was chosen Freshman Queen. Being a typical coed she likes normal things, such as music, dancing, movies, etc. Not being athletically inclined she enjoys sports from a spectator's standpoint. She writes a column for the Ogden Standard Examiner about Weber College and campus life. Sally hates study-iny and seldom does it, although she gets good grades, a quality which all of us would like to gain. Like most women she likes to talk and does a lot of it. Raelene Sommers . . . Homecoming Queen Sweet and vivacious, little Raelene has almost everyone in a tither over her. Allen Cook and many others were contemplating a neck-tie party for themselves when a small item appeared on the third finger of her left hand. But this did not detract from her popularity in any way. This petite bundle of zest cannot stand to be idle for a moment. If she doesn't have anything to do she will go looking for something to keep herself occupied. She loves everyone (especially Doug) and everything. 12 Marilynne Henrie . . . Snow Ball Queen Pert and classy, but with a heart not made of ice and snow, she became Phoenix's Snow Ball Queen. Dancing on the creative side as well as the social aspect is one of her main interests. One other item that ranks high on Marilynne's must list is women's counterpart, "MEN". She appreciates the finer things in life such as art, but is unable to draw. The one thing that she likes to do most is to laugh and be gay. Coleen Burnett . . . Lambda Delta Sigma's Dream Girl Having the qualities of dark hair and gleaming eyes and a personality with sparkle, she was chosen Delta Phi's Dream Girl. Coleen holds the office of President of the Women's Chapter of Lambda Delta Sigma, and does a very commendable job. She has the hobby that everyone should cultivate, making people happy. Her majesty is a sports enthusiast, enjoying both indoor and outdoor sports. The enjoyment of secretarial work is high ranking on her list. One of Coleen's weaknesses and favorite pastimes is eating, although her figure does not suffer. Norma Litchfield . . . A. M. 5. Queen The blonde bombshell who never explodes nor takes off her smile, is one of the most active girls on the campus. Norma is the President of Otyokwa, Inter-club, and is interested in all campus affairs. Having the talent for dancing she is chosen for many affairs which are in need of her. Dramatics rates high on Norma's list of interests, as well as do many other things. Dependable people are one of her chief likes, and her pet peeves are people who are always complaining. So there is a hint for everyone who want her friendship be pleasant. 13
