Show MYRA WRIGHT VAN TANNER HELEN WILSON Vice-Pres. Pres. Sec. & Treas. The Freshman Class FOR THE FRESHMAN CLASS, or rather the Student Body minus a few stray Sophomores, the year of 1923-24 has been one of continuous achievement. From the time of the big class party on Hallowe'en, where all Freshmen became acquainted, the success of the class was assured. Since then they have consistently led the school in social and student activities. Ami think, of all the classes that have gone out of Weber, the class of '25 was the only one to put over the one real demonstration on Founders' Day. Even '05 could not rival them with their snappy songs and yells. In a word, they were the "life of the party." The "Country Fair," sponsored by the Freshman class, was another brilliant success. This affair was the outgrowth of a new and different idea and proved to be one of the most successful dances of the whole year. It is hoped that the idea of the "Country Fair" will be carried on thru other years. The College "Prom" was the crowning social event of the school year. Formality, elegance, beauty, and grace, all combined to set a standard that future classes will have to strive hard to attain. It was the first College Prom held in the city, and the people of Ogden showed their welcome by their patronage. More conspicuous even than this was the large representations present from the different Colleges and High Schools of the State.
