Show Sue Parkinson CRIMSON SHADOWS Sergio Perkins Sleep on rusty pillows and the teeth of red tongues fall slowly on green grass. Dancing on your graves you are slow dancers, ciseling black names on marble: On fields of white rectangles and grass cut even, the wind makes deafness loud. Shadows of blood like shadows of daylight that disappear at night. Cold footed shadows dancing barefooted on white marble where you write black letters. Alone you dance, you black forms separated by equal spaces of grayed or colored light; where you roam never walking across the inch. Where you write what only shadows read. 17 |
