TONIGHT'S GAME PROSPECTUS This is the game where Boise College lays it's impressive undefeated record which has taken three seasons to build, on the block and let's the Weber "Wildcats" take a swing at it. Boise has racked up a total of 824 points in thirty two games and has held opponents to a mere 215 total points. Boise wound up last season in the Shriner's "Potato Bowl Game" at Bakersfield, California, where they soundly whipped Taft Junior College of California, 257. The Boise "Broncos," under the mentorship of Head Coach Lysle Smith, started off the '50 season with a bang when the "Bronc's" roared over Modesto College from Modesto, California, with a score of 3313. The Weber "Wildcats" have demonstrated that they are no slouches either. In two games this year the Weber machine bounced over Carbon College with a 287 score and outlasted four year Rick's College for a 76 tussle. WEBER COACH Since assuming the reins at Weber College as head football coach in 1946 Milt Mecham has had a man's size job. Weber has entered actively into participation among the football "greats" in junior college competition and it has been Milt's job to produce a ball club that can give these J. C. athletic giants sixty minutes of football. This he has done. Weber has done battle during the past four years, to name a few, with Compton, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Fullerton, and Glendale. Much to Mecham's credit, his ball clubs have not only given their oversized Coast opponents plenty of football but they have also won their share of games, to the delight of Ogden football fans. Weber football clubs, coached by Mecham, have gained a reputation for being hard ones to upset, game, scrappy, and plenty colorful. Mecham would like nothing better than to toll the Death Knell for Lysle Smith's "Broncos" thirty two game winning streak. Tonight's game will see two great ball clubs and two great sideline generals matching wits and power.
