REED K. SWENSON Weber Athletic Director National President National Junior College Athletic Association Perhaps more than any other person, Reed Swenson is responsible for putting Weber College in the fore ranks of National Junior College athletics. Since assuming the athletic directorship at Weber in 1933, Reed has gained national prominence for Weber athletic teams and for himself. He is currently serving his second term as national prexy of the N. J. C. A. A., an association of more than 200 junior colleges throughout the nation. Swenson also serves at Weber as head basketball coach and last year his team captured the conference title, the FourState Regional title, and went on to the National J. C. tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas, where they placed sixth nationally in competition with sixteen teams from that many regions.
