Show D. RAY WILKINSON President, Alumni Association Weber College The Associated Alumni of Weber College extend a cordial welcome to all visiting Alumni at this Homecoming Football game. We hope you are enjoying your visit with us and that the game will thrill you and bring back memories of those good old days when you were playing or cheering for dear old Weber. We wish to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your generous support to the Expansion and Development program of Weber College. The College now has a 180 acre Campus nestled at the foot of Mount Ogden, a little money which is being used for architectual fees for an all over Campus Plan, and $250,000.00 as a nest egg for the building fund. Our Association is cooperating with the present Student Association to raise funds for a Student Union Building on the new Campus. You can help. A Life Membership costs $15.00 and the moneys derived from this source are pledged to the building fund. Weber College helped give us our start in life. What could be more fitting than for us as a grateful Alumni to now help Weber give the present youth, our own sons and daughters, the help they need educationally. We are anxiously engaged in this great cause and invite each one of you to become active with us. D. RAY WILKINSON, President. As Weber's annual homecoming celebration really gets underway today, I wish to extend warmest greetings and a sincere welcome to all members of the alumni who have returned to the alma mater to renew old friendships and to revive some of the pleasant memories of college days. Particularly do we welcome you this year because you have contributed so generously, in time, money and effort, to help all of us realize a dream of many yearsa four-year curriculum for Weber College. Thanks to your help, we now are closer to this goal than at any time in our history. It is our wish to expand the course of study to comprise four years in many desperately needed fields. We have come this far with your help. We hope you will keep your shoulder at the "four-year wheel" and push with us until our mutual dream comes true. I feel that the iron is hot right now and that while the economics of our state and people are fluid we must make a vigorous attempt to achieve our, ends or we will miss the opportunity of a lifetime! If ever in its history our college faced a challenge with a commensurate opportunity, it faces that challenge with its opportunity now! If ever our students, faculty and alumni worked together, they must do so now. And if ever that teamwork was appreciated it is appreciated now! My personal gratitude goes out to the alumni officers and membership for their unity and zeal in the alvancement of this program. Again, let me proffer best wishes for you individually and for us collectively. DR.
