Show Calendar SEPTEMBER 17-Registration: One hundred Freshmen and Ernie Wilkinson register the first day. OCTOBER 2-Class Day: First football game at Weber. Student Body Reception. Orla emerged unscathed. OCTOBER 4-Fine Arts Club organized. "Gus" Visser enters protest. "Soon no one will want to work," he says. OCTOBER 6-Ern Shreeves breaks leg. Basketball prospects look darker. OCTOBER 12-Faculty Reception: Students learn that Professor Young is fickle. OCTOBER 24--Congressman Milton H. Welling addresses students on Liberty Bonds. OCTOBER 25-Senior President entertains class at Fifth Ward. Faculty urges amusement, committee to be more paternal. OCTOBER 26 Jimmie Leishman patronizes Senior barbers. First Girls' Show. Editors present. OCTOBER 31-Senior Hallowe'en dance. The ice water was delicious. NOVEMBER 5-Basketball starts. NOVEMBER 9-Freshman class party. Senior class acts as chaperon. NOVEMBER 16--Soldiers dance. Students give faculty permission to entertain. NOVEMBER 23-Second Girls' Show. All invited. Or. Lind and Kasius, only members of faculty, absent. NOVEMBER 27-Class basketball series starts. Freshmen 20, Seniors 16. Freshmen stock jumps above par. NOVEMBER 28-Sophs Thanksgiving dance. Finance Board takes proceeds. NOVEMBER 30-Remove balconies. "Strongheart" cast proceeds with work, without "requisition." DECEMBER 3 AND 4-"Strongheart" at Orpheum. The lure of the footlights almost disastrous for Bonsee. DECEMBER 6-Taylor Ward entertains Juniors. DECEMBER 10-Uniform dress adopted by boys. After much verbosity, both sides "win." DECEMBER 15-Junior class has first-class party in Room 12. Jo and Russ extend mutual congratulation on its success. DECEMBER 21 Christmas vacation. The faculty migration to Prove JANUARY 7- -School again. Christmas ties very much in evidence. JANUARY 17-"Strongheart" plays in Provo. Provo spirit much enjoyed-at both institutions. JANUARY 18-At Davis; Davis 30, Weber 26. Why say more! JANUARY 25 At Weber: Weber 24, Davis 17. Let Monday speak. JANUARY 28-Holiday for victory over Davis. Faculty gives course in "anatomy." |
