Title Weber Field Trips
Description Throughout the history of Weber State, students and faculty were known to go on memorial hikes and travel to different locations during the summer semester on field trips. The Geology department was famous for putting together fascinating field trips to many different locations. This exhibit provides images from 1898-1963.

Biographical/Historical Note John G. Lind came to the U.S. from Sweden at the age of five. Lind began teaching Latin, as well as natural and physical sciences, at Weber Stake Academy in 1896. He continued his education for many years, earning a Masters of the Arts from Illinois Wesley
