Human Rights Commission MLK Luncheon The Utah Human Rights Commission will hold its Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Luncheon on Friday, January I rr 11:00 a.m., at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 West 3100 South, in West Valley City. The theme is, “A Celebration of Our Youth: Promises of the Future” and the keynote speaker will be Mr. Louis Gossett, Jr., renowned American actor. A donation of $10.00 and a non-perishable food item (to be donated to a homeless shelter) is requested. WSU Gospel Music Festival The Weber State University Gospel Music Festival Committee is preparing for their 13 Annual “Make a Joyful Noise” Gospel Music Festival. Their theme is, “Go Tell It on the Mountain” in celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013, 7:30 p.m., in the Austad Auditorium of the Val.
