Show 6 Special Supplement to the Standard-Examiner, Sunday, October 10, 1993 Annual 5K Race provides friendly competition : SK The annual Homecoming Race will be held again on the challenging course on the Weber State University campus, Saturday, October 16 at 9 a.m. Check-in and © late registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the WSU Alumni Center Patio. “Many runners feel this is one of the most enjoyable and best organized races in northern Utah,” said race committee chair, Murray Olsen. “In the past we’ve had as many as 300 runners enter the race and enjoy the breakfast that follows,” he further commented. The Starting point is in front of the WSU Alumni Center located at 1305 4lst Street, just west of Promonto-— ry Tower. Runners will see much of the campus during the course of the race — the Dee Events Center, Skyline Drive above Wildcat Stadium, past over looking campus, the Swenson Gym and back down 4st Street, ending at the Alumni Center. Pre-registration for the race will cost $10 if turned in by SE October 2 at 4 p.m. Late reg- istration is $12. Registration campus at the Alumni Center and the Health Education Complex.
